Read what patients had to say about Dr. Auker's exceptional care

Dear Sir,

I have never written any other letter with a complaint or praise. However, my son Sudip Jha had an eye injury while playing with family dog. He was treated in the Walnut Creek emergency room and was operated the same morning for a torn tear duct and other cuts. He was operated and subsequently treated by Dr. Todd A. Auker.

The medical care he received from Dr. Auker was definitely way above the norm of what I consider regular care. He came in eager just to examine him, explained the whole treatment process very well so that we felt very secure. He called us at night at home to find how my son was doing after operation. Every time we called his office with some problem or questions after the operation, we got a very fast response.

In short, his concern for the patient was so overwhelming that I felt compelled to write to you. In addition, I will recommend him very highly to my friends and associates.

Dear Dr. Auker,

I thank you for your brilliance and professionalism in providing new sight for me this last week. After 45 years of blurred vision it is pleasure to have normal eyes again.

God has given your the ability and talent to bless others. An experience that could be disturbing was made to appear routine. I pray for your continued service and for God's blessings on you and your family.

Again, thank you.

Letters about Cataract Surgery

Dear Dr. Auker,

Rather than wait to go buy a stationary, I am sending you this as the spirit moves. Thank you! Thank you! For giving me back the joy of seeing! Thank you for what you do for all of us old ladies who cannot read or watch TV because of cataracts. Do you realize what joy you bring to so many? (By the way, do men get cataracts? I never knew of one.) My mom and aunt, both avid readers, spent years living in a stilted narrow world because of cataracts, and here I am as good as new thanks to your expertise and knowledge. My right eye which troubled me for months, til this May 5th, is now perfect. I may not even need new glasses. Thank you again. I appreciate you and the work you do to help others. Take care of yourself and your family and do not work too hard. Thanks again for a grateful and happy reader.

Sincerely,
M. Ganetherrmann

Dr. Auker,

You gave me a set of new eyes last year. I am retired now to this beautiful area, and the beauty is I can see it. There are teens who whiz around the curves of the one-lane, 600-foot road to our neighborhood who owe their lives to you, that and my venerable geriatric reactions. One of my crotchety old man peeves is people who don’t show gratitude – that includes my kids, of course – so I try to express it when due.

Thanks,
Larry Spears
